No clue on the actual arrow speed. The Legacy is a great shooting, well balanced, quiet bow. I'm glad to own one.

I personally didn't like my Legacy. It is a sweet shooting bow but I like my Outback much better.

Like my legacy alot--don't know for sure about the speed but it should 250-260 roughly with a 400gr. arrow.

It's not the speed of the arrow it's the accuracy!

I loved my Legacy. Smooth, quiet, more than fast enough. I was very happy to hand it down to my son, and now I shoot a Switchback.
How much does he want for it? I would think you could get one now for $350 or so.
Good luck!

my 70lb legacy shoots 270-275 with carbon arrows and 100 grain tips. There isn't much drop in this bow. I put the sure-loc lethal weapon sight so that there is some difference between the pins. its a great bow but i might be switching to a switchback soon

Mathews? Now whay would you want to go and do a thing like that? Mathews? I mean really, c'mon, just because they get great reviews... just because I know a guy that's been shooting the same one for 8 years... hey, wait a minute... that would be me.

Just busting on you guys a little... my advice is to make sure it fits you and your particular shooting style. I'm sure it will serve you well for years to come. Truthfully, I'd buy another one in a second, as Mathews does make a quailty product. My old first generation Conquest works as well as day one... the whitetails may not like it much, but I sure do.
