The live buck wasn't quick to leave. He was still in a fighting mood.
Was proablly mad because the shot that shot off the antler made him deaf [&:]

IMO it's great someone was willing to risk life and limb to free up the buck. Both animals were beauties and it's nice to get a happy ending(depending on which buck you are)

Mother Nature always intrigues me. The fact that that buck would not leave after being freed, not because it was to tired, but because it was still determined to follow its insinct to fight just blows me away...
