Default Best time to put out Minerals

If a guy were so inclined - when would be the best time/season to put out minerals for deer?
I think I remember reading that summer and fall minerals do not benefitial the herd.

The beginning of April thru to the end August. The Bucks are growing their antlers and the Does are lactating and feeding the fawns.

Wouldn't you think that minerals would benefit ANTLER GROWTH?

Early spring (Feb, Mar) salt with some minerals, deer need salt to assist with getting enough water with new spring growth diet. Then April/May put out minerals, salt & Di-Cal mix lighter on salt. This is when they need minerals and calcium for antler growth and nursing fawns.

At least this is the way I understand it.
