mob1971, yes the Switchback is a combo of the Lx, and the Outbback and to be honest its a bit faster and even a little bit smoother. But with that said, IMO its not better enough than the Outback to justify selling your bow, taking a hit because its used, and then buying full price for the Switchback which is more money than the Outback. My brother has the Legacy and he will keep using it until Mathews comes out with a bow that will even make the Switchback look like old technology. I promise that will be a few years down the road from now. If I were you I wouldn't worry and just be happy with the excellent bow that you own. Of course if you wanted to buy a new toy, then go for it, but I would stll keep the Outback as a good back up.

Outback as a good backup? I would say more like a great back up. Jason's right though I wouldn't take the hit on selling your outback and then paying full price for the switch. When I shot both the switch and the outback I was shopping for a new bow and had nothing in my case at home. So for the extra few bucks, I bought the switch. I would never complain about the outback though. Good luck and keep us posted.

I didn't have the same experience since I used to own an LX but after shooting the SB I made the switch (no pun intended) I have been amazed at how this bow shoots I am very hsappy I did. But it is all a matter of personal preference you may not feel the same. Good luck in you decision you can't go wrong either way
