I'm getting ready to buy a new bow. I have it narrowed down to a Pearson Dagger or Diamond Triumph. I had an oppurtunity to shoot the Pearson but I do not have a Diamond dealer in my area. I know that Bowtech makes Diamond and that Bowtech has an excellent reputation. Did anyone have an oppurtunity to shoot both of these bows?

I have shot the Diamond but not the Pearson.
I have nothing but good to say about the Diamond especially for the $$$$. Great bow for a great price.
Specs
8.5 inch brace height
31.5 inch axle to axle
65%-80% let off
302-310 fps IBO
MSRP $499
Thats alot of bang for your buck!

I originally was looking at PSE, Parker and Pearson. I knew that I could not afford Matthews, Hoyt, or Bowtech. I shot a Parker Ultra light 31 and pulled back a Phoenix 34. I also shot a Hoyt and a switchback and the Dagger. For me I liked the way the Dagger shot and it was comfortable in my hand. I really felt that I could shoot this bow all day. I could not find a Diamond to shoot, but since they are made by Bowtech I figured they should be considered. Right or wrong that is how I ended up with the two.

I agree with buckeyebuckhntr. I just got the Diamond Rapture. It shoots like a dream right out of the box and with a price tag of $389.00, you can't go wrong. All three models of the Diamond seem to be very good, mine is extremely shootable, forgiving, and shock and vibration are at a mininmum without adding any libsavers yet. This bow is more than I could have ever asked for!!!! GO WITH THE DIAMOND

I've never shot a pearson but I own a Diamond Hornet and I love it. The past 2 seasons I have noticed I had some vibration, which I figured was because it wasn't a "premium bow"....I assumed that because the people telling me that were Bowtech and Hoyt people...this year instead of buying a new bow, I bought some new arrows...guess what vibration, is gone and I'm shooting alot better. The bow feels and sounds alot better. Anyway, I think that Diamond bows are descent bows and you'd probably be happy with your purchase. Let us know what you get and how you like it.
