Default Golden Eagle Split Fire 32 XTR

My dad just bought me this bow from Eders bow (without me knowing) for a late graduation present. What should I expect? Is this a good bow. How would you rate it? Thanks.

I have heard many different things about the Shock-Stop. Some good, some bad. What are your opinions on this feature? Thanks.

Josh, I bought the splitfire 36 a few months ago. it's the quitest
bow I've ever shot. I love the offset grip also. I went to beman ICS 400'rds with feathers and am now gettin 245 fps. I'm happy with that speed, since I was only gettin 217 fps with my 2213's.
I think you'll be happy with your splitfire, their really good bows in my opinion.

I will be shooting the 30" draw, 70 lbs, with 30" game tracker Carbon Express Terminator Hunter arrows. The finished arrow weight is 541 grains. (12 grains per inch X 30 in = 360 grains + 125 grain tip = 485 + nock, fletchings, insert = 541 grains. What kind of speed can I expect to get? Thanks.

Josh,
Your dad is a prince! I use the Splitfire 36 and couldn't be happier. It is so quiet that I took a shot today and missed (my fault - not the bow). The three deer did not move and I was hunting from the ground! They did see me load another arrow and decided to go elsewhere.

You will be happy.

Yes, thas a great bow, Good Line of bows, and a great bow all in its self. but him buying without you knowing isnt a great idea. Does it fit you? U cant fit yourself to a bow, u got to fit the bow to you.
