Default Ameristep Doghouse/Outhouse Blinds

I have been looking at getting one of these 2 blinds. My question is: Is the Outhouse big enough for bow?? (it seems a bit small to get to full draw comfortably?)
Any advive would be appreciated.

Hey doughboy (a fellow SigEp, I presume!?). I don't think the Outhouse is big enough. I have the Penthouse, and even with that size, you have to be right smack dab in the middle to be able to draw without making any contact w/the blind or your gear/chair/etc.
If I had it to do all over again, I'd probably save up a few extra bucks and go for the Double Bull. The outline of the Penthouse (any Ameristep, I guess) is a little hard to disguise.
Good luck!!

The outhouse is definitely not big enough for archery. It's kinda tight for gun hunting! The doghouse, or one of the other larger ones, are a better choice.

I agree not big enough, you need to make the sacrafice and buy a high end blind if you plan on bowhunting out of it much, if this is your 1st experience with a blind then you might want to get a cheaper one and see if blind hunting is you thing, just my .02

My experience with my Outhouse has been that you can't bow hunt from it , my top limb smacks the top of the blind every time . You can buy a high end blind like a Double Bull first if you want , but for what you'll spend you'd be able to buy a brand new Ameristep of your choice every year for the next 10 years and have beer money to spare . Save your money for more important things .

Don't overlook their other models ,
the Brickhouse and Blockhouse models are quite roomy too . They also seem to have more headroom .

I have the Outhouse TSC and it is fine for bowhunting out of. It is a little taller than the regular Outhouse and has the scent control and zipper floor. I thought about the Roundhouse 360 TSC but figured I didn't want something too big but it would probably be just fine. The Outhouse TSC is 68" sq x 68" tall and the Roundhouse is 80" x 76" tall. I love mine.

Oops. I posted I had the Outhouse but actually I have the Doghouse. Yes, the Outhouse is definitely too small.

I have the outhouse and it's ok but if I had to do it over again I'd get a bigger one
