Default Pa bowhunter

anyone from PA. Iam currently on active duty in the usmc stationed in CA. Ive taken 15 bucks with the bow and many doe in PA. Now tha Iam stationed in CA hunting is much different. I have to drive 4 hours just to see deer and find a place to hunt. No time to scout I guess I got lucky when I harvested my first 2X2 blacktail with the bow this year. Their season starts in JUly on the northern coastal area. I will be honorably discharged in 2004 where I can then continue my PA bowhunting. Scouting and preparing for the opener. My love for bowhunting only grew stronger here in CA. And for all you PA bowhunters I wish you the best of luck this season and god bless. Would love to hear your scouting and hunting stories.

Matthews, too bad you have to travel so far to hunt, but at least you can still go, right? Thanks for the wish of luck. Hopefully, I won't need it since I have an official Cardeer Necklace (thanks again Cardeer). I hope to have some good stories for you. I may have some after this weekend when I go over to NJ for their opener. Good luck to you in CA and thanks for serving our great country.

And here I thought this post was just for me when I saw the title...

Thank you for the well wishes. I wish you the best of luck as well for the remainder of your season and look forward to having you rejoin the ranks of Pennsylvania Bowhunters.

Matthews, Cardeer is one of the most well liked and respected guys on this board. He has more stories than the Bible. The necklace is something that he makes as a good luck charm. Last year he offered one to anybody that wanted one. I think he sent out around 400 necklaces in all. He may check this post, he's usually lurking around this board, the deer hunting board and the off-season board.

Sorry you won't be able to hunt in PA for a few years. We may have some real top notch bucks by 2004. Only time will tell. Are you aware of all the changes taking place with the deer seasons/sizes here in PA?

The will be plenty of stories around here this fall!

Good luck in CA!
