If any of you guys were in that hunting party, you would be saying: "Look at our success! What an awesome pic!"
Because there is a trailer load of nice bucks that you didn't get to shoot you say "what a shame, wasted opportunity for someone else"
The "someone else" meaning you.
This is the way those folks participate and their style of hunting.
All legal.
Mind your business....

Personally I don't have a problem with these people harvesting a tremendous amount of quality bucks. In fact, I think it's a great testament to their hunting land as well as their hunting ability. I just find the image of so many trophy animals stacked ontop of each other to be rather tasteless and unnecessary. Hunting should never be about the sheer number of animals harvested, and in this case that seems to be what this picture is representing.

Just my .02

Look at the wheel on the first picture either these guys have some beefy springs on that trailer or something isn't right.

A four wheeler and all those deer and the trailer isn't weighted down?????????

They'll have to find a new spot for 2-3 years because after taking that many mature bucks, even on a large tract of land in Iowa, it would knock the deer herd down from having many trophies. I'd rather see individual photos of the deer and hunter, which would give them more dignitiy.

Just curious but how much dignity do you think a deer has when you have him rolled over cutting his nuts out or gutting him? Or does this concept only apply if someone happens to snap a photo? Just curious?

If I count right there is 10 bucks. All with growth "outside the ears". First off isn't that what QDM is about? Managed harvest of does and only shooting more mature bucks? Seems like they did everyhting "right"

As far as the number goes what's the big deal? Very high pop. of deer and 10 bucks is not a lot. I hunt a high deer density of eastern ontario. Between our camp and the 2 within 1 mile of us there was 18 bucks taken during one week season and 11 would qualify as "mature". If we had of joined forces to transport them to the butcher it would have generated a similar shot. I've driven by the feilds just down the road and have seen LOTS of mature bucks which survived that week to "spread thier love"

Now if you question how tasteful the picture is that's a matter of opinion. I think shared amongst other hunters it might be appreciated a little more. I wouldn't show it off at the office.

I'm hunt in X-mountie's neck of the woods. Lots of issues with landowners having problems with high deer densities. Some huge bucks taken (including one by the mountie man himself if I do remeber correctly). Big bodies and big racks to be found but also lots of hunters who will shoot anything. No QDM practiced.

Veeeeery expensive for non-resident licences and so you better leave them big boys for me and the mountie to take care of

p.s. I should add that those 18 bucks were taken over a very large area and represent the efforts of about 30 hunters total.
