They're all crap compared to MY Hoyt Protec [8D]

Look, a bow is a bow when you get into these top of line models. Get the one that fits you perfectly and do the same thing shot after shot and you will be impressed.

Matthews, Bowtech, Hoyt, PSE, Martin, etc, etc are all good companies with good products that fit everyone's own personal needs and goals.

The word filters are in place for a reason, please don't bypass them.

Thanks.

Back on the subject - the debate between bow manufacturers is one that will never end, and never have a clear winner. Every bow has it's pros and cons, and ultimately it's up to the consumer to decide which bow they feel the most comfortable with, is in their price range, and affords them all the features they're looking for. Hoyt, Bowtech, and Matthews all make great products, as do many other companies. Just because one is faster or quieter or looks prettier than another doesn't mean it's better or worse than any other bow.

No offence I am just trying to figger it out.

Dose any have A ALLEGIANCE that shoots the 328?

I have an allegiance that at 62 pounds draw weight and 29 inch draw length shoots a 310 grain arrow 318 fps. This is shooting 5 grains per pound the same as IBO test specs.

Now add another inch of draw length with equals roughly 10fps puts you right on 328[8D]

IBO test specs are 30 inch draw length 70 pounds 350 grain arrow. (5 grains per pound)

RE: MATHEWS VRS BOWTECH

The BowTech Liberty was designed to be a smooth drawing and pleasureable shooting bow with not a lot of emphisis on speed. Had the MightyMight VFT, Patriot VFT single, Patriot VFT Dually or the Extreme VFT been compaired to the Mathews Outback,,,,,,, the results wouldn't have,,, well,,,,,,, not been very compairable:D
Botton line is that,, much the same as this year, Mathews really only introduced one new hunting bow in '04 as the Outback. The Switchback this year is really the only new hunting bow for '05. In Mathews own words "the Switchback is the best hunting bow we've ever made".
BowTech has the most to offer in different models for hunters and target archers in '05,,, with the most revolutionary cam system offered in '05.
Next year might be different but IMO BowTech is the company to watch this year;)

They're both worthless to me. Neither outfit makes a bow in my draw length.

Arthur

The constitution goes to 33 inch DL.

Both the Old Glory and Independence go to 32 inch draw length.

What is your DL? It can't be over 33[:o]
