Default Poll on camo

25+ years ago when I started hunting, I just wore jeans and jacket. No camo. around 10 years ago I started using army BDU's this year I'm using modern camo. It was the cheapest so I got Realtree hardwoods green.

What kind of camo do you use?
A.Mossy oak, Which version?

B. realtree, Which version?

C.Army BDU

D. Camo? What's that?

E other brand.

FOOLPROOF?

I use Mossy Oak Break up and skyline apparition. Thinking of trying some ASAT though.

I have both realtree hardwoods and realtree advantage. The stand I'm hunting dictates which pattern I use. I have some great testimonials to their success.

I'm like you thundermug. I started off with nothing, and I still generally buy whatever is on sale. I usually wait until the season is over and then I check with a national distributor that carries camping gear to see what they have. Guess what? They buy Cabela's old stock and re-sell it at a great savings! I picked up a one piece uninsulated, gore-tex outfit from them for half of what it cost in Cabela's. It still had Cabela's green tag inside it. The pattern is basic Mossy Oak, but to be honest it really doesn't matter to me. I truly believe that just about any camo you use will work, provided that you take time to make sure of a good tree stand setup. Anything that breaks up your form is fine. Jimmymac
