Default string twang

I have heard that excessive wax on the string can cause slower arrow speed but how does wax effect string twang, you would think that the string could not vibrate as much with more wax. This may be a weird question but I have tried many string silencers and still suffer with what I think to be to loud of twang. Any little bit might help?

String wax won't silence your strings. Some bows are just noisier than others. If your worried about deer hearing the bow, don't be. A deer will hear even the quietest of bows.
