Default Too late for the can?

My wife got me the can estrus bleat call. Wish it was still mid Nov but since its not I'm kinda nervous bout trying it out. My season goes till the end of Jan but my real question is do you guys think the late ruts still happning in CT. I havent seen any rut activity but havent been able to get out much lately either.
Thanks.

i tried it on a button buck this year and he couldnt run away fast enough the only time i use any calls now is when deer are going away from me with no hopes of coming my way for a shot. i will never use a call to try to make a deer appear.

Cans are basically for early season, using one now might just spook the deer. Just my own opinion. Good Luck

It works year round. From what I believe, that is the sound a doe makes. It dont change when they are in estrus and when they arent. Its just a doe bleat, they bleat reguardless of what time of year it is.
