Remember your Landowners at Christmas
Remember to Thank your Private Landowners who grant you permission to hunt, this holiday season.
It can be just a thank-you Christmas Card or an actual "token" gift or meat from your kill.
I delivered some Hickory Farms meat and cheese gift baskets yesterday. It was actually quite fun. I was invited in and told my tales of the season. I was also told of monster bucks and other deer that were seen during the farming season. Heck at my favorite farm, they invited me to eat supper with them, I pleasantly declined because my dinner was waiting at home.
They were grateful and of course said it wasn't neccesary, but they will remember me next year as a courtious and hopefully, upstanding hunter, who appreciates thier generosity.
I also offered my assistance come planting time or as needed.
Merry Christmas all and Many good days afield in the New Year!
