Man it's tough, during the off season to keep busy, but, some how we do it. Lancaster eh??? That's around the rochester area....yeah me and my buddies plan on goin up there to race cars next summer...... Well, good luck this season and don't shoot them all hahaha

18 days until I leave for Colorado. I've been waiting for this since I applied for my tag and almost fell down when it came. Been practicing for nearly six weeks but bought a new Hoyt last Tueday. It shoots like a dream.
My friend (the rancher in Colorado ) has elk drinking from water troughs. Stay calm.... don't count your chickens....
Here in NY I'll hunt West Point. The place is covered in deer and turkeys. State should allow more hunting here but controlling so many people on the reservation is difficult. Hunt Control is usually up to its eyes in problems and more people would only add to them. Then there's always the guys who wander onto active rifle ranges.....

Al I used to live in Lancaster ,I moved to Alden 10 yrs ago . Do you hunt around town or a differant area .I was out in N. Java today setting stands .So far I have 8 trees all cliped out and 6 more to go .How do you like the new lic. set up .With all the tags we are allowed we can get up to 5 deer .I like the idea of signing doe permits over to other hunters, how do you feel about it .

Hey Guys,
I live out here in Cali but fly back every November for gun season. My family owns some property outside Pine Bush which is close to Poughkeepsie (spelling?). I am planning on taking the bow back with me this year and hunt at least 2 days before the gun season opens. Anyone else from that area?

Can't wait for the season!!!
But I gotta wait a bit longer....a bonehead friend of mine decided to get married on opening weekend of bow season. So I'm gonna have to wait until the second weekend...
What sucks even more is that I still have not even scouted or checked on my treestands from the end of last season....
