I have the dc-100 also . I have had nothing but trouble with it.
I have had to replace the batteries about 4 times already they always go dead even before i complete one roll of film.
They say that it is because it is in the woods to long and if it is to cold or rainy it does not work that good.
I would never buy this cam again.
I spend about $12.00 in batteries some times before i even finish a full roll of film i have to put in a new camera battery.
This camera is on a trail and not on a feed area so it will take longer to take a roll of film but i fell if the camera cannot stay out until the roll is complete them what good is it.
