What really stands out to me is the lack of reality in the recommended alternative means to reduce deer herd population. I am pretty sure from an economical standpoint the DNR in my state is very similar to every other state in the country. In other words; they don't have much of a budget to work with.
These contraceptive solutions take tons of money to implement. That is something DNR just doesn't have much less the manpower.
This anti-slanted argument is not a sound argument. Why not let bow-hunters hunt in more urban environments if that is where the "overpopulated" deer actually are?
