Nova14,

You cant just go sit in a cornfeild with blue jeans and a blue flannel and shoot deer like you can rifle hunting
Thanks for displaying your ignorance. I don't know a single rifle hunter in his/her right mind that would hunt deer in anything other than full camo. I understand you're shooting range is a lot shorter when using bow, and you're more likely to be seen by a deer. I bow and rifle hunt myself. But that doesn't mean this guy shouldn't get respect for taking a deer (190 class or not) with a rifle. The whole "its the bow way or no way" mentality is stupid/childish. Whatever a person wants to use to put meat in the freezer and a rack on the wall(if that's what he's after) is what he should use. If you don't have respect for all hunters no matter what weapon they use then you don't deserve to hunt.

And next time you call someone's statement "rediculous", at least spell it right

Actually kansas......

Deer don't exactly live in a black-and-white world, but instead have dichromatic vision, that is they can see all hues of blues and yellows, but they are red-green color blind.

The thing is that my cousin works at this place and said that I could hunt this property! I would be the only person hunting this property
Does your cousin own the property? If not you might want to get the owners permission.

thanks for clarifying that buckeye, I didn't know they weren't totally color blind, but I've been in too many scenerios where I had blaze camo on and had does and bucks walk within 10yds of me and never know I was there.

Thanks for the reply's guys. Tommorow evening I will heading out with my cousin and will be talking to his boss. My cousin guarenteed me that I can hunt there but I figure this way is better anyways.

I will be out there Friday morning as long as he does give me the okay, and I think that I will have my bow in hand along with my digital camera! I might call the PGC tommorow and ask them if it would be legal for me to take both my rifle and my bow. If the buck does come in and he is in bow range, I could shoot him with my bow, and if he is out there away, I might take him with a rifle. Now, when I say this, I am not too confident in getting this deer, I have never been in these woods and have no idea where everything is at. The only thing I know is that my aunt saw this buck head into a small patch of x-mas trees surrounded by cut cornfields and bed down!

Like I said, I have never seen this buck, and it might not be nearly as big as what these guys are claiming, but I have heard this 190" range alot from a bunch of guys! Heck, about 10 guys that my dad works with are after this deer and they have said the same thing. I have heard that it is a 12 point and I have heard that it is a 14 point!

On a side note, here is a pic of a 20 point buck shot in PA on the opening day of rifle season.
