It always cost noticeably more when 'mixers' like beef and pork
are put in for sausage, bologna, etc. At our locker it costs $1.39/lb.
for pork and $1.59/lb. for beef, when added to the ground deer.
When just getting a straight cut (chops, steaks, roasts, &
grind[no add]) it only costs $70 to process the entire deer.
These are some of the prices for other processed venison:
Summer Sausage-regular.........................$2.25/lb.
Summer Sausage-w/cheese.....................$2.75/lb.
Bologna-regular.......................................$2.2 5/lb.
Bologna w/Pepper Jack cheese..................$$2.75/lb.
Deer sticks............................................ ..$2.75/lb.
Jerky (50% shrink)...................................$3.50/lb.
As you can see, the $$$ can really add up quick.

Ohhh I see....I guess between $50-70 isn't that bad to have a deer done. Thats somthing I can afford.
Do I have to wait any time period or need to do anything between the time of check in to the time I get it to the butcher? Like I mentioned...I live in a townhouse with really no backyard to do anything with. This deer has got to go from the woods to my freezer asap.
