Default Bowhunters and orange

Gun season opened the 16 down here. Everyone must wear 500 inches of unbroken solid orange while deer hunting. I am only 8 feet high in my tree. Will the deer be able to see the orange?

Deer can't really see orange so don't worry about that. They key in on movement which is going to be a very serious concern IF you are only 8 feet up?? Did you mean 18ft??

No I meant 8 feet. The trees on my land were just harvested so they are small. I can only safely get up in my tree 8 feet.

Well since your only 8 foot off the ground I would, or I would tie some orange ribbon up above your head and take the orange off. but would definitely wear going in and out from stand..

The bottom of my stand is 8 feet off the ground. I do have an extremely good hiding place though. I was just wondering if the orange would appeal to the deer any more than me being in the stand. By the way, you must have 500 inches of solid orange on.
