How old was the deer ? Really would be neat to know - and how big was the body ? Wow !
He only weighed 162 field dressed, which is unusual b/c they have killed deer off that place going from 175 to 210 lbs in the last 4 years. The game warden aged him at 6 1/2, he said he was no younger than 5 1/2 and no older than 7 1/2, but he was sure he was 6 1/2.

Congrats to your buddy! That thing is incredible. It's got tremendous mass. Not to mention it's a horse!

Hey Millertime, I see that you are from El Reno. I go to college at SWOSU in Weatherford just down the road from you and I am from NW OKC just down the road on the other side of you. I hunt a lot here around Weatherford and also near Guthrie in Crescent, OK. I know several people here at SWOSU from El Reno. That is an excellent buck for anywhere, especially around here. Did he get it South or North of I-40. I hunt a little of both but...man...I look forward to the day I see a deer remotely close to that. Tell him nice job and keep the hair if he wants it long.
