I got my first bow kill
I've always gun hunted. My Dad was a game warden and I grew up with it. Last year I started bow hunting. Thanks to a bunch of folks on here....Three in particular...Coug Mag & nwlawhackmaster, & 1P/Y.....tytyty, I'm hooked now...(and my bank account shows it, lol)
anyhoo....I was sitting in my ground blind....It was about 4:30 in the afternoon....saw what I thought was a doe.....she came straight out of the woods into the scent that I had laid out...which I thought was weird because it was doe in estrous lure....I drew back when her head was down.......
She got within 20 feet of where I was, my heart was thumping so hard I thought it was going to jump out of my chest. She looked up & caught my eyes, but, I was standing very still. She stomped like she thought something was there. I shot. She went down....turns out it was a nice size button buck....and I couldn't be happier....

Congrats sunset on your first with a bow.And I can see you have another future hunter.I really enjoy getting the family involved,and the satisfaction of butchering your own deer,again a big CONGRATS
