I can understand how you feel. And I think I would invest in the can of whip-ass too!
I am not fortunate enough to have ladder stands and I hunt from the ground. I have several ground blinds in strategic areas on my property. One particular ground blind has a milk crate embedded into the hill side next to a large maple. I have branches and stuff piled around for concealment. About two weeks ago I make my way in to this blind while it is still dark. When it gets light enough to see I notice something is not quite right. It looks like something was dragged right by my blind. Upon further investigation I see it is the path of an ATV. The driver couldn't go along the path because of a downed tree so he went around - two feet further he would have hit my crate and probably have capsized - that's how well concealed it was. It was a cold morning but I was warm because I was steaming! Didn't see any deer that morning either. When I decided to go in for lunch I found a bag of chew tobacco on the trail. Oh boy was I mad! Why can't people stay off private property? I respect others property....
I'm pretty sure I know who came thru on the ATV. I caught him about two years ago . You'd think he would have learned. Well, during the break between archery and gun season there will be some trees cut across the main path. That will keep him out. Also, a strategically placed game camera may give clues to who is trespassing otherwise...

I'd be pi$$ed as well ,espeacially if it was my land .But don't give up yet you just never know what can happen. Thieves are everywhere maybe you should put up a game cam and try getting pic's of them.
