I shot a coyote once and the dirty varmint reached back and yanked it out of himself. It must have hit his shoulder blade cause it didn't pass through. He bent the heck out of that thing . He did drop it though because he had dying on his mind. I haven't seen any coyotes so far this year so maybe they're numbers are down. I do believe the fox numbers are up in Iowa though.

I harvested a doe last year and my arrow broken in half the fletch and half of the arrowstayed in the deer. When the doe took off a neerby tree broke the protruding half off.Anyhow I looked for that part of my arrow shaft the next day,and couldn't find it,I found the broken half dyas latter no where neer where that deer ran and nowhere neer where I shot her.I wondered if it was one of the many yotes in the area and now I believe it to be true. Also the gut pile was cleaned up the next day too. I wanhted to find that arrow because my father in law rides his horses in the area and I didn't wan't one of his horses to step on the broadhead. Also I wanted my MUZZY back.
