RE: Hunter survives attack by angry buck
Hey guys,
This guy is from the same town as me and actually lives about 4 houses down the road from me. I will tell you what really happened on Mick's hunt that the article doesn't say. Mick was in a enclosure that is about 100 acres. HE WAS IN A GAME FARM!! I was told this by one of my good friends(Zach) at school and Mick is Zach's grandpa. Mick was try to push deer to Zachs brother. Zachs brother eventually shot the same deer and it was a 13 pointer. The deer was probably half tame!!!!

And I seriously doubt he wrested with the deer for a whole 10 minutes. I mean, I'm glad the guy's OK and all... but, I remember when I was in the prime tip-top shape of my life (was running two miles in 10:17, could do 72 pushups in two minutes, and 132 situps in two minutes) as an 18-year-old in basic training, and our drill sergeants had us face off against a competitor with pugil sticks. These were like giant Q-tips, and we basically did "bayonet training" for three minutes. At the end, we were totally exhausted.
Maybe I was exerting more energy than it took to fend off a crazed buck while defending your very life, but I kinda doubt it.
