Default How to approach post firearms season?

Firearms season is over on the land I hunt! How should I approach the rest of the season?
Should I wait a while before going out hunting to let the deer settle down?

I did see 5 does this morning when I drove by on my way to work! They were real spooky!

Also next weekend is the second firearms season but no one is allowed to hunt the land I hunt. I plan on sitting all next weekend. Should I wait untill then or would you try it this week?

Also the guys that slug hunted this land did shoot at the buck I've been after at from like 400yds away. With a shot gun slug. That really upsets me. They have no idea if they hit it or not. "it didn't fall over so I must not of hit it"!

What are the chances of seeing that deer again?

I can hunt this land anytime I want!

In MN, We have a first and second firearms season. In this part of the state only shot gun slugs are legall. No rifles! I don't slug hunt!

My brother inlaw is the person that had permission to hunt the firearms season on this land, but his lic. was only good for the first
season.

I was asking if you think I should leave the deer be for a while so they calm down from being chased around!

Firearms season is not over but no one has permision to hunt besides me! And I bowhunt only!
