Intersting and nistalgic
Thought some of you older huners would like to see this sight. And some of us younger hunters can see it to realize just how far we have come in bow advancement.

This web sight gives pictures and diagrams of bows made over different years. It even includes prototypes. Rather cool web sight.

Excellent site Stalker !
A friend of mine has an Allen compound nearly identical to the one at the top of the compound page hanging in his basement , and he says that he still takes it out every now and then .

I see an old bear that resembles the first compound I ever shot. It blows my mind to think how far they've come and the speeds that are regularly acheived today. I'd honestly be suprised if that old bear in my basement could hit 150" per second with todays carbon arrows. Knowinf distances back then really made all the diffrence in the world.

Here is one of my first except I had a regular Bear Kodiak (late 70's) which is a few years older then this one. I actually have two of them, one one my Father's. They are still hanging in the basement.
