VA 3 10point bow

i headed out to my stand this afternoon that is set up around a small bean field that i had some bad luck in with a nice 10 pointer a few days ago and i hadent seen him scence but he was spotted by a hunting buddy of mine last night crossing the road going into the field. i dident get a chance to hunt him this mornin because i had to take my dog to get rabie shots. but any way when i climed into my 15 foot ladder stand this afternoon there was somthing sitting there waiting for me a 5 foot black snake all curled up geting some sun so it took me a few seconds to get reed of him he was very coroperative. did not see the buck but did see a nice 6 pointer just out of range by about 10 yards.

I hate them darn snakes, I got bit three times by this guy but lucky he didn't get threw my waders

I have not seen a snake around here in 2 years,something is happening to the snake pop around here.

cardeer, that's not a good sign. a healthy snake pop tells you a lot about the health of an area.

Holy crap, I would have literally fell out of the stand if i found ANY snake in my stand.
