Default to stabilize or not to stabilize

Has anyone every shot or does shoot with out a stabilizer I was thinking of tring it but I was wondering if anyone prefers to shot with out one and what benifits does it have for them. I have always shot with one.

I don't use one and have had no problems whatsoever. The main reasons I don't use one is because I really don't see the need and I don't want the extra weight on the bow.

I never used one for hunting, until I started shooting indoor leagues. Now I do, just to keep the set-up kinda the same, although my hunting stabilizer is much shorter and weighs less.

IMO the deadening qualities of a stabilizer is what defines a good one from a not so good one. I have shot my bow without one but found the stealth modular stabilizer (what I shoot) really deadens the bow. For me it's definately about deadening qualitied then for balance.

thanks guys I tried shooting with it off I and I liked how much lighter the bow felt but it didn't make up for the vibration and silencing and balance it gives me.
