twice now this season i have had deer out in the hayfield in front of my stand right before dark. is there anything i can do to get them to come to my stand when i first see them? they usually graze in the field and then come right in front of my stand. if they would come when i first saw them i would have a chance for a shot. usually they come a little past shooting time and i wont take a chance of wounding them. anybody have any suggestions?
thanks in advance,

i would watch and see what trails they come in on the most and set up about 50 yards inside the woods along the most traveled trail. You can even block off a couple trails with brush piles to funnel them to the trail your going to set up on that works well but best done before the season is open.
