I'm not blocking you I was just perterbed at your post. Because it wasn't long ago when you said, in reply to the thread
"I Just couldn't do it" about some guy who couldn't shoot a doe you replied.

"To each his own IMO if you feel good about the decision not to shoot her you made the right decision. Hunting IMo should be done for one's own self. With that said I'd have taken her. The fawns are no longer fawns at this time of year. There skippers and perfectly capiable of surviving on their own.

This is a place to discuss things good and bad. Some may not like others ideas or ways of doing things, but it can open ones eyes to how things are done elsewhere. Yea it may not be the nicest thing to come in and rain on someones happy day, but to completely try and end all debate and persuasion would make things dull. Some people are far more arrogant than others when expressing thier views, not everyone hunts strictly managed texas ranches. Yes it'd be nice if the world were full of big bucks and everyone had a chance to shoot one but such is not life and I think most hunters here are happy with what circumstances they are dealt. However, in such places where people shoot every little buck by, trying to change thier ways of thinking ain't a bad thingi f done tactfully.

Actually this is a discussion board and it's a forum for people to voice opinions. Whether you like or agree with them or not. There is always a right way and a wrong way to do things but in most instances the subject matter itself doesn't make it wrong. If someone has a strong opinion on QDM then they have every right to voice that opinion. I figure I have disagreed with just about everyone here at some point or another but that is part of the interest of being here. We all get to voice our differing opinions. Sometimes we are more diplomatic about it than we are at others times but that's all part of it too.

I don't believe this is an accurate statement. I questioned why a meat hunter would let does pass to shoot a small buck. I've congratulated a few guys for kills that I would have let pass but none of them said they were meat hunting. If you're happy shooting a buck that's great but I question why on would prefer to shoot bucks for meat when it's beneficial to the herd to shoot does and shot at multiple doe proceeded the shot at the spike. IMO it seems selfish.

I know I know its hard to believe that I have on occaision voiced an opinion that was unpopular[:-] But seriously that's all part of what makes this thing go round. Some of you guys are more laid back and even keeled. Some guys are always the first to pat you on the back. Some guys like to argue for the sake of arguing. Some guys argue strongly when they feel strongly(and occaisionally fly of the handle[8D]). Sometimes we get a little frustrated with each other (or is that just me:D) but I think most of us (at least the old timers) have a mutual respect for each other, whether we tend to agree with each other or not. I happen to think Adams is absolutely right on with his take on this subject. But again that's just my opinion. However, we have disagreed (rather strongly) on a few other subjects. Just like Bob-Co and I have disagreed but I still respect what he has to say whether I agree with him or not. It's all part of the process of this board. We don't all think a like. But we have a right to express our opinions with in reason. QDM is fair game as far as I am concerned. Most everyones deer herd will benefit by shooting more does and letting the little bucks grow up. You certainly haven't accomplished anymore by killing a 6 point than you have by killing a doe. Now I also realize that in a few parts of the country or in specific areas that it wouldn't do any good because the guy next to you is going to kill them anyway. But it has to start somewhere and for most of us we can start making a difference by passing the little ones and we can continue making a difference by trying to get others to do the same.
