How to draw in a what you think is a nocturnal buck?
I have a buck on my property that I saw twice last year. So I have been scouting since the end of last hunting season and have not seen him yet. Last year he was a very big typical buck and I heard that once bucks get that big they almost always travel at night. Now people have still shot a monster buck in daylight hours, but I just want to know if there is any way to draw in a buck that you think mostly travels at night. Last year I filmed him in the evening one time and me and my dad scored him and came up with about 180-190 typical score. So I want to know if there is any way to tell if he is a nocturnal buck.

the reason he is so big is that he is nocturnal buck .he is older and smarter , it may be possible to catch him coming back to the bedding area , during the offseason of the rut , the rut is about the only time these big bucks will be running around in daylight , they seem to lose their sences and have one thing on their mind .

What you need is a 300 class pair of sheds to rattle together. That shouldn't be a problem though. Just wander the property until you find those sheds and start banging them together. he should be there within range in a blink of an eye

Praying...a lot of kneeling and praying to the hunting gods for good fortune.
Take a week off of work during rut-time and wish for the best...good luck!
