me and a friend are goin out tonight to hunt at my house, right on the edge of a cornfield. the corn is still up but the deer have been walking along the outside a lot with some big buck prints. wish us luck everyone, our seasons havent been going that good so far. pray that we see a deer. that would make us happy
thanks,

Good luck...It's to windy here to hunt, so I came into work instead, the wind should calm down overnight so I plan on heading out in the morning. I have only been out twice so far and still have'nt had the pleasure of seeing anything from my stand. Hopefuuly that will change tomorrow...

well we went out last night. didnt get anything. after sitting down for only 15 minutes i looked over and was watching my friend [could barely see him through the weeds] and he shot. this was his first time seeing a deer while bowhunting. well he ended up getting so excited and shot over the doe's back. he thought he had hit it. so we looked for blood and found nothing. we ended up finding the arrow 50 yards away in the cornfield. i am going back out tonight to sit in the same spot he sat in. i was about 20 yards away from him and i was going to shoot the deer that came to the left and he was going to shoot the ones that came from the right. he had the better spot and i wanted him to sit there so he had a better chance at a deer. wish me luck again guys.
huntingmichigan-
some people say that you cant tell what a deer is by its print but i think you can. a buck has a gap between the 2 hoof marks where a doe makes a "V".
