short opening morning hunt
 

today is bama opener archery, and my season started with a whop, just a doe but it felt good to break the ice, since i didn't get to hunt last year because of a back injury( and no i didn't fall out of my stand), i got to see a total of nine deer, only 2 were small bucks, the rest were does and yearlings, the doe i killed came in with another doe, both appeared to be breading size, and the one i killed had a head shaped like an older deer, no milk bag either, so i figure she was a barren doe, i'm sure she'll eat good.

Way to go. Our season started today also I'm sitting at work. Sat. its going to be rainng with 40 mph winds here in western ny. Get back out their & shoot the big 1.
