Default is it just me

I am not hunting bow this year because I switch to left handed bow just recently to use the benefits of using my dominent eye and having both eyes open, well I have been practicing and since i hunt deer and other big game i use 3-d targets to sight my bow in and I can hit the bullseye(kill zone) everytime with both my 15 to 30 yrd pins but when i shoot at paper bullseye targets at 30 yrds i can't seem to get the arrows in consistant on the bullseye(30 yrds is my max kill range I set for myself) makes me frustrated when I can touch arrows at any range on the kill zone of any 3-d target but when I get to 30yrds on a paper target I am all over the place I feel completely confident that I can kill game with a vitial hit, but when i go to paper targets and at 30 yrds when I am all over the place it worries me there is no feeling worse than the one when you are watching a wounded animal running away from you.

Your bow could out of tune a tad and it does not show up until 30 yards or so. Try paper tuning to see whats going on.

I think it's quite possible that you have a form of target panic. I have the same problem that you described and I have TP pretty bad when shooting at bullseyes. There's just something about a bullseye that blocks me from holding my pin directly on center. When I aim at a 3-D target, a leaf on a tree or the vitals of a deer, I can hold dead steady on EXACTLY where I want to aim. I'm just glad that it's not the other way around. I'd hate to have TP when shooting at deer.

thanks bagginbigguns its good to know that there is some one else out there that has the same problem. I know its not the bow because its been tuned and paper tuned and arrows fly great like I mentioned I can touch arrows together when I am shooting at a 3-d target in the killzone everytime and I can hit a rabbit or even a stump at 30yrds but when it comes to shooting paper bullseyes on a target I just can't seem to keep the pin on the bullseye and my arrows are little spread out. so I guess I can keep practicing but atleast I know that when it comes to a deer and other big game I am hitting right on the money.

I myself can shoot at a 3D target and knock the crap out of it but when it comes to a bag target with bullseyes on it I panic. I think I try to hard and just don't relax and follow through like I should. Good luck on fixing the problem cause I can't.

Aim True!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe try something different than the traditional bullseye. A poker card or match book ect.. taped to your target to aim at might be enough to crack the barrier.
