I too went out and bought a Harness. The Saftey Harness Vest. Pretty cool. VERY easy to use. I like it because when I have my scent blocker jacket it brings it in tight to my body away from my string while at full draw! Smart too!

I'm glad to see some interest in the ascender/static rope/caribiner/full body harness system.

I know I sound like a preacher, but this system could prevent someone from being crippled or killed. It is to my knowledge THE most modern and safest method of reducing the risk for fixed position stands.

I have used it for the last 3 years and the level of confidence that it gives you from the moment you begin to climb up until both your feet are back on the ground after the hunt is just hard to describe.

Here's something to think about...maybe you've heard this before, and maybe you haven't, but it is pretty sobering stuff:

1 out of 3 bowhunters will fall from a treestand.

Here's two questions for you:
1. If you knew you might fall tomorrow what precautions would you take to prevent it?
2. How do you know you won't fall tomorrow?

Anyway, this system works for me.

I hope a few of you spend a few bucks and do what you can to guarantee your safety out there.

Good luck.

Any questions, you can email me at [email protected]
