Default Which Full Body Treestand Harness?

I see a lot of people on TV using the Hunter Safety System Harness. I currently use a chest harness, and I know that's not the safest way to go. What are some other good models if the Hunter Safety System is not the best? Thanks a lot!

I have the HSS reversable vest. It is very comfortable. Especially compared to what you get w/your climber.

I also have the HSS reversible vest and I love it. In addition to being very comfortable, I have all of my basic gear in the pockets (right glove, face netandhandkerchief in the lower right; windchecker, pull-up string, whistle in the top right; left glove andharness rope in the lower left;.32 cal pistol in the top left)plus a small carabiner sewn to the inside to clip my small flashlight,my nylon hunting knife sheath sewn into the other inside area to hold myknife, a small compass pinned to the top right pocket flap, and a carabiner to hang my quiver hooked to the bottom left loop.

Since it has two more large pockets on the orange side, I can store more items that I only use occasionally (like cough lozenges) in these. They are not easy to reach with the camo side out, but I can get to them if I have to.

With my license pinned to the back, I pick up my bow and (usually) Lone Wolf climbing stand and I am ready to go.

I have the HSS Pro Series and consider it to be the best. I will never however understand why they used velcro for the pockets.

Thanks guys. Now what size? S/M = 100-175 lbs. (32”-44” torso) L/XL = 175-250 lbs (42”-56” torso) is what the HSS website says. I'm 5' 8" 175 lbs.

I use the HSS also. Easy to put on. I have the newer mesh vest type and the reversible orange/cammo one. The mesh net style is a bunch cooler in ow season. I'd get the large. By the time you add in the bulk of cold weather clothes, the large I think would be more comfortable,

A couple of buddies of mine use the "Seat-of-the-Pants" system and like it. Both are the same idea, just designed a bit differently.

I have the Rocky harness. I like it but have just noticed the one that all the shows are using. The mesh style, not sure what brand though. I like the fact that it has buckles for the straps.
