I am going to watch my shot for now on. This is my first year bowhunting and I have been gun huntin for 4 years. Yet to kill one and I got ahead of myself. I am aloud to go Bowhuntin by meself but next year I will be Legal for Gun! I get the Fur Fish and Game mags and I buy the Bowhunting Mags at Wal-mart. This summer I hope to get to shoot some 3-d. My 10 year old couson(GIRL) wants a bow for christmas and I am going to help her. And gusss where I learn. From here!

TH,
I like your attitude! Learn all you can from the veterans. I also started bowhunting when I was 15 but didn't connect until I was 17. Stick with it and practice, practice, practice! During the summer, I would shoot 3-D for at least an hour a day, sometimes 2. A shooting partner always inspires you to out do one another and up your skill level. Always be aware of your limitations and take only the ethical shots even if it means passing up that buck of a lifetime. Remember, hunting, though it is fun, is serious as you are taking the life of one of God's creatures. This should be done with respect and part of that is taking the animal with the least amount of pain and suffering available. In other words take only good, clean high percentage shots. We owe it to our quarry and our sport. JMHO.
