I got this large four point in Southern Michigan on Sunday 10/3 at 8:15 am. I am curious if anyone knows why a large deer like this would not grow out brow tines? I don't think it is a yearling buck?
BTW, a Mathews Outback with a NAP Nitron Broadhead tipped Beman arrow and Turbo Nock did the trick at a 25 yard shot.

I just think he is a young deer. I've hunted a bit in your area (kind of). Hunt Jackson and Washtenaw counties. Big deer round those parts. I think its a young deer with decent genetics. Don't blame you for taking him though. Great looking deer

I let one, just like that, walk last year to let it mature. Two weeks later it was on the side of the road, killed by a vehicle. I should have took the shot.
Way to go! Nice buck!

Royal Rack i've seen a couple large 4pnts like that in my area. Just tonight i saw a 6pnt, that had to be 20inches wide. I think its due to the genes, every buck i've seen like that has been in the same general area- hopefully i'll find the guy passing it on and take him out
Like cardeer said they'll arrest us Pa boys for shooting those. Nice buck though, congratulations
