I know it feels losing a deer. I hit a small buck last year, slightly too far forward, probably on teh shoulder bone and my arrow broke off half fell out. we had no blood, and we searched late that night and almost half the next day, making circles and such. i dont know if he lived or not, hopefully he lived. i still feel bad to this day about it.

Regardless of what some say about this. We all make mistakes. Ive lost a deer myself. Were not machines and mistakes happen. Just keep looking and read up on tracking deer and shot placement.
