Well two hours into the evening hunt I shot a big doe with my brand new Parker Pheonix bow. Shortest recovery on a bow kill at only 30 steps. Sure is nice to watch them go down knowing that everything went well. off for three weeks moose hunting and then back for the buck, need to help out my team. Well opening night here i am talking to yall fella's, my opening day just was that............opening day. It rained all afternoon, and i had does bedded below me and i was stuck in the rain becuase i didnt want to spook em away from the bedding area where i was waitin on mr.big, but he was elsewhere, oh well always sunday!
