Default Opening Day First Deer

Today was the first day of our WV rifle season and at 7:50 am I had a three point buck on the ground. This hunt was a special hunt for me because I had my ten year old Grandson along with me. Just to see his excitement at being there with me was worth more than silver or gold.
Things did not work out for him to hunt this year with his own gun but I hope to change that next year. God gives us all special days and I thank him for the one he gave me today. Three more weeks till smoke pole season but I still have a doe tag I can use till then.
