Wish I was out there this morning myself but I had the day planned for me and it is looking like I will be waiting to till tuesday! I think this cold blast may help us out!

Well let me tell ya there buckeys, opening day was just that..................opening day, it was hot and some what windy, then it rained all afternoon, but it was a great day seen plenty of deer but didnt take one due to the lack of sleep i had before opening day, i hate it when i get all keyed up! Sunday is going to be cold, so i am going to hunt the moring and try, i said try to get some sleep

For me opening day was a bust . it opened cool and SSW breeze then at about 930 the wind shifted to NW and dlew my set up . I only saw a doe and 2 yearlings in the am . In the pm saw nothing but tree rats . Sun am a spike rubed 10 yds away and chased tree rats till 11:45 when I left . I will try again this PM at a different spot.

I was not able to hunt the opener.That is the 2nd time in 16 years of bowhunting that I missed it.I'm going out for a couple hours after the nas car race,behind my house.The deer have been feeding pretty good in a food plot I have back there.Good luck to all.

I had to work opening morning and didnt get out until 1:00 and took a big doe at 2:12. Went out this morning and got another doe at 10:10
