A guy who traps in our area stopped in today and gave me two bottles of skunk juice. He says the deer love it along with the coyotes and foxes. Last year he gave a couple of bottles out and 1 guy took 3 doe while using it and another shot his buck over it. Does anyone have any experience using this stuff or hearing stories about skunk spray? It sure reeks, I won't have to use alot to make an impression in the woods, that's for sure.

They sell it as a common cover scent. I guess that strong of a smell would mask all human odors. If you walk buy it in Wally World you can easily smell it. I have heard that it makes deer more cautious than they would usually be. Here in Illinois, all you have to do is dip your finger in some diesel and rub it around...Deer are used to the smell of diesel because of all of the farm machinery. Any scents that a deer may regularly come in contact with would probably work as a good cover scent.
