Default Bad Weather

Well, tomorrow marks the opener here in Michigan. A cold front is coming in tomorrow combined with high winds and wintery conditions. The wind is SW @ 20mph for the morning and remaining 20mph and switching to WNW later in the day. Temps range for a high of 59 to a low of 32. I do have a few stands that put this WSW wind in my favor, however, I don't know if I want to risk being busted. Given the conditions, I wonder what others opinions are on how I should plan out my day??? Even though I'm excited I really hate to ruin my chances.

No brainer, do your best at scent control and get out there. Sounds like great conditions to me. I'd be real exited if I were you!

Here in Nebraska the wind blows 90% of the time. Bad for golf and hunting, but I do both anyway.

Sounds like you will have better weather then what we had here in WI for the opener. It was hot with very little wind and lots of bugs.

I am going out here tomorrow afternoon and we are going to be getting much the same as you. It's like nature is calling. And everyone knows when nature calls you better answer.

Our first two weeks here in Missouri were just too warm. Up in the 80's during the day, just a little too hot to get them moving while the sun is still out. This weekend looks to be about perfect. Supposed to get a little rain tomorrow, then highs in the low 70's all weekend.

I am hoping the deer move like crazy on the edge of that front and I plan to be in the woods regardless of conditions. IMO you should be out there too ........ It's been nine months can you really wait another day?

Good Luck
