Default What type of knot is used for string loops?

I have a problem with my peepsight not fully opening because of string twist.I read that a string loop will keep that from happening. Is that true?
Is there a diagram or web site that will help me install a string loop? Thanks

Saddle hitch on both ends, the tag ends of each end are away from the center of the nock.Make sure you burn the ends, and flatten them.
