I will be hunting Pioneer, ohio in nw ohio. I already been out several times scouting spots and shooting some tape. Several weeks ago i went to scout a new spot and the first couple of steps i looked down and found a shed, looks to be from a little 8 piont, but that was my first shed i found ever, so i thought to my self "this is going to be a good spot".
Well i scouted around for awhile i found good signs rubs and a new scraps. Its a little early for scraps i thought to my self, but moved on. I found a nice open fiel that butted up to standing corn and was surrounded by woods. I set there for about ten min. as i looked to my right two four piont bucks walked out from the woods. I started to hit my grunt a few times with no response, so i hit my can with one buck walking over my i flip over my face mask and look back up to see another buck 30 yards looking right at my. I had the wind in my faver plus i was wearing my leafy camo that works wonders in the summer/early fall. By this time im thinking "Life dosnt get any better then this" I see a fourth buck walk out in the same place the first two did. Well life did get better. I noticed this buck looks pretty big, as im getting eye balled be two other bucks. Well the other two smaller bucks make there way back towarge the bigger buck. I pulled the binocs and i noticed this looks to be the same buck i found the shed from. I sitting there watching them and all of a sudden the bigger buck starts sparing with one of the smaller bucks. The smaller buck didnt want any part of it abd ran away. Then the bigger buck starts casing the other bucks like he was saying "This is my field". I have never seen such action while sitting on the ground, adn since them i been having good luck seeing deer from the ground. I hoped you injoyed the story, and good luck hunting this sat.

I just got some great news. I thought I was going to have to work Saturday, but it turns out I won't have to go in. The first thing I did after I heard were not going to work was call my buddy in lancaster. He said come on down. I'm stoked, one minute I thought I was going to have to work through the opener and the next minute I'm going.
