Default Biggest deer....spooked!

Now, tell the truth, what was the biggest deer you've seen in the woods but you blew it bad and spooked the deer out of the woods and never got a shot and never ever saw the deer again?
I once blew it when I saw a 4pt. and dropped all my arrows out of the tree because I got 'Buck Fever.'

I've spooked does before, like this year when a big doe walked under my stand, but saw me draw, and ran. So far I haven't spooked a buck, both bucks I have had in range I got.

Do some still hunting for big Mulies out west and you'll spook quite a few. I've spooked numerous nice 4x4 bucks after spending hours on the stalk. Even after investing a lot of time to come out empty handed it's a gas.
Shoot, even lions aren't successful everytime, and they do it every day!
I've blown it from my treestand up north a couple times as well for stupid reasons over the years.

I spooked the biggest buck i ever seen coming out of the woods as he was standing next to a doe in the field where my truck was parked. He just dwarfed the doe. My brother in law got a shot at him the following weekend and missed. We never seen him again.

I had a large 10 point 10 yards away. It was raining, and he was standing in some thin weeds. I had a small opening, but with the buck fever, and lack of exsperience on my part I never got a shot off. after 15 min of watching him, he finaly spotted me and left for parts unknown! If I would have this same situation unfold now, I am sure I would be able to get a shot off, and probably make a good hit (nothing is a sure thing). I consider that one of my greatest bowhunting lessons, so it wasn't a total loss.
