Default Close encounters, gotta love'em!

Yep, just yesterday I was walking around my hunting area looking for sign, *it was like 1:30 in the afternoon* and I was headed towards my stand located on a pine fencerow. Well, as I was walking up a grassy hill here come a big healthy doe and 2 yearlings with her heading right at me! But! the thing is she stopped at like, what had to be 10' in front of me! When I had seen her head coming up the hill in front of me, I ducked a bit and froze, squinting my eyes, the only reason they were running though is because they had winded human scent, but didn't see me yet so they were headed back over the hill for the woods.
About 2 yrs. ago I had a spike come up to about 8' or so when I was still hunting on the same fence row. Gosh, I love close encounters!
