A good ground blind will produce deer with a bow as readily as with a tree stand...you just really must keep movement to a minimum and control your scent.
Either a natural or store bought blind will work, though a store bought blind is easier. All you need to do is brush it a bit...look at "Double Bull" or "Ameristep" at Cabelas or Bass Pro
Good Luck

I used to weigh well over 300 pounds (220 now) and never let that stop me. I hunted 25' in the air with no concern. I just made sure I had mega stands that would hold me.

I have hunted from both and a tree stand is much more forgiving but ground hunting can be fine if you set up correctly.
As far as the stand allowance wieghts I am right at 300 pounds and hunt from a ladder stand all the time. I am not telling you too but they are pretty stable if strapped up right. They also make stands they have higher wieght allowances if you are willing to pay alittle more.
